What great weather for fishing!

What great weather for fishing! It sure is nice that we don’t have that 90 degree stuff. Fishing still remains very strong on the west end of Devils Lake. Everyone I talk with in the shop tells me a different way they caught there fish. Shallow, mid range and some fish coning as far as 20 ft. down. Bottom bouncers and spinner flew off the shelves this weekend. Old Hyw 281 one was hot this weekend trolling spinners and cranks in 8 to 12 foot of water. Slip bobber fishing has been good on Hali’s Hump, Howard’s Bay, Windmill Ridge, The Culee trees. Trolling has been good on the north shore of the flats and on top of the Golden Hwy. Salmo hornets, Shad Raps and Rip shads seem to be the best. Colors Change every day so mix it up.

Keep your Lines Tight.
