Fishing to stay solid into the fall…
The bite goes on! We are still catching lots of fish in that 12-25 feet of water. Live bait continues to be the ticket. Jigs tipped with a worm or leech and bouncers and spinners tipped with the same have been the best. Still fishing weed lines, rock piles, drop-offs and we are starting to see some fish show up near current areas. Some days the fish are in the current and other days they are just off it. Look for fishing to stay solid into the fall and we usually start to see some of those nicer fish hitting again as well. As water temps start to fall look for more fish to move back into the shallows. Pike and bass have been caught in shallow with cranks and jigs and plastics.
Good luck to all!!
