Lakewood Boat Landing

Status updated: April 24, 2015
The fish cleaning station is closed for the 2014 season. The docks are in and the ramp is open for the 2015 season. Due to lower water levels, the north ramp at Lakewood will be closed for the 2015 season. Please use the south ramp at Lakewood instead. The year-round fish cleaning station is located on South Highway 20. This location provides paved access road, fish cleaning station, security lights, picnic shelter, trash receptacles and bathroom.

Pelican Lake Landing

Status updated: May 13, 2015
This location provides trash recepticles and a bathroom. The docks are in and the ramp is open for the 2015 season. Please use caution when launching your boat at this location, as the water gets down to .9ft of water when leaving the canal of the ramp area. May 2015 Ramp Status Update: Game and Fish Department efforts to dredge an area near the ramp to deepen access to Pelican Lake have been extensively explored; however, recent bathymetric surveying of the area has yielded disappointing results- meaning there is just too large of an area that is shallow (1.5-4 feet) and the distances are too far that it makes dredging impossible. If the lake drops another 1 foot, the area will become a high risk to navigation and will be closed. Assuming water levels continue to fall, areas along the old, inundated Highway 281 will be reconsidered as possible access sites.

Round Lake Bay Boat Landing

Status updated: May 13, 2015
The docks are open as of May 17, 2013. This location provides paved access road and trash receptables. May 2015 Status Update: If and when the lake drops another 2-2.5', both the ramp and old Hwy 281 crossing will become unusable at approximately the same time. In addition, there are several dozen large boulders below the water surface and within the travel lane of the 281 channel that currently create a boating hazard. Plans are being made with a dive team to remove these rocks.

Six Mile Bay Boat Landing

Status updated: April 30, 2015
The fish cleaning station is closed. The year-round fish cleaning station is located on South Highway 20. The docks are in and the ramp is open for the 2015 season.
