Cold cool temps and wind kept most fisherman off the lake this past week.
Welcome hunters and fisherman to the Lake Region. Cold cool temps and wind kept most fisherman off the lake this past week. The few who did make it out continue to report good fishing. Typical fall patterns are working the best with anglers working sunken roads, moving water bridge areas, and rocky points. In these areas anglers are trolling cranks or bottom bouncers with spinner or jigging with minnow, leeches, or crawlers. Some of the better areas continue to be the sunken roads of Pelican and the Flats, Haley’s Hump, Patience Point, Doc Hagens, the Ft. Totten/Cactus Point area, Five Crows, Foughty’s Point, all the bridges and the area near the outlet to Stump Lake in East Devils Lake. Good Luck & Good Fishing!!!
