Anglers moving around a lot are having the best success!

Fishing reports have been pretty good over the last week. Seems to me people are still catching fish in the same areas everyone has been fishing all summer. Stromme addition, Fought’s Point, Dairy Farm, Haybale, and with the cooler weather the bridges are starting to pick up as well. Fishing 5-10 FOW if you want to pitch crank has been pretty good. Right on the edge of the weeds and trees. #5 Bleek, Purpledecent, Hot Steel, and Firetiger have been the popular cranks of choice. Fishing 12-25 FOW using spinners and bottom bouncers tipped with a crawler or leech has been working for numbers of fish but not the size. Pitching Cranks and trolling them have been the best for nicer fish. Areas for that include the dike and weed beds north of stromme addition in east bay, New Mil area, Doc hagens, Howards bay, and Pelican. Up in Peilcan Refuge Island, Pelican Ridge and various underwater roads have been successful. Again anglers moving around a lot are having the best success.
