Anglers are reporting some excellent walleye and pike action on the lake
Welcome hunters and fisherman to the Lake Region. Another week of cold temps and some added snow this past week once again kept most fishermen off the lake. Prior to this cold front, anglers were reporting some excellent walleye and pike action on the lake. Typical fall patterns of working moving water bridge areas, trolling sunken roads and rocky points, or jigging these areas were the most effective presentations. Some of the better areas this time of year include the sunken roads of Pelican and the Flats, the bridge areas, and sunken rocky points such as Patience Point, Doc Hagens, Ft. Totten/Cactus Point, Five Crows, and Foughy’s Point. Good Luck & Good Fishing!!!
